For some reason, mathematica does not make it easy to make a simple x vs. y plot. Any Ideas how I could simply refer to two colums that I want plotted against each other? Extra: I would really like to use headers in the csv, but I had to take them out because mathematica cannot handle them without what seems like a lot of extra work. Any advice? This notebook defines a function which will allow the labeling of curves in a plot by just giving the labels or the label and fraction of the distance accross the plot at which you want the label to appear. Dec 26, 2020 · I am new to Mathematica and this forum so apologies in advance if I am not doing anything properly (do let me know). I am trying to visualize the imaginary part of an integral of q w.r.t r when plotted against w in the code bellow. t1 and t2 are the limits of integration and are functions of l and w. The plot looks weird for w < 0.5 (blue patch ... Wolfram|Alpha brings expert-level knowledge and capabilities to the broadest possible range of people—spanning all professions and education levels.
In addition to showing the progress of the plot, it also marks the x position where it currently calculates. The main problem is that for multiple plots, Mathematica applies the same plot style for all curves in the final plot (interestingly, it doesn't on the temporary plots).
